These are the songs I sing to myself as I'm going about my day. My grandmother tells me that when she was young - before TV and radio were around - she used to sing often while she was doing the chores and such, but it seems to be a lost art now. People sing with the radio or in an organised group if they sing at all.
But I like singing! And because it's hard to find a song with enough of a tune that they don't need the backing of a radio or CD I thought I'd document the songs that I tend to sing to myself. It's not a list of my favourite songs or anything - many of those can't be easily sung without backing - but I do like all of these.
