Look, I appreciate the thought but ... bloody hell, I hate these stupid online "e-cards" and "flowers" and "gifts" and "stuff" like that. The ones that only exist inside your computer, and not on paper or in the real world.
Yes, even now when I'm perfectly capable of viewing them on my fancy new iMac, I'd still much rather a one line email if you have nothing new to say! Write "Hi Ricky, Thinking of you. Nothing new here. Bye, <YourName>". I just hate e-cards! They take up a heapful of bandwidth and they invariably take ages to load and usually have badly done graphics and un-funny jokes to boot!
Tell me about your day instead! Tell me about your life, tell me what you believe, tell me how you feel, tell me what you think happens after death, tell me how you'd like to be buried, tell me how you'd cope if you suddenly got a severe disability, tell me if you could pick that disability, which one you'd choose.
Tell me anything but DON'T BLOODY SEND ME E-CARDS!
Got it?
Thanks.
