- Coping Shelf - Books about coping with CFS and/or FMS, these might include suggested treatments but are generally about how to live with the disease, rather than claiming to cure it.

- Treatments Shelf - Books which claim to show ways to treat or 'cure' CFS and/or FMS. Given that there currently is no single cure for these diseases, much of the content of these books may need to be taken with a grain of salt - and a healthy dose of common sense - but many of them contain useful information also.
- Biographies Shelf - Books about people who've had CFS and/or FMS, most of them have been written by the patient themselves, some by partners, parents or children.
- Fiction Shelf - Fictional (story) books where one of the characters have CFS and/or FMS.
Medical Shelf - Books about CFS and/or FMS which have been written for doctors and other medical people to read.
Other Shelf - Other books which have some relation to CFS and/or FMS but which did not fit any of the other categories.
- Humour Shelf - Books about medical/disability things that'll make you laugh - good for your health and your emotions!
- The Stress Reduction Shelf - Everybody with a chronic illness gets stressed sometimes. These books concentrate on coping with that stress.
The Biiiiiiiiiig Bookshelf
