I'm probably a touch better than I was in 2004 and updating this document is pretty high on my list of stuff to do at the moment! I've been diagnosed with Neurally Mediated Hypotension/Orthostatic Intolerance, yes. I get low blood pressure and tachycardia when I'm upright, taking less than 10 minutes to faint even on the several meds I'm on for my blood pressure and heart rate. Actually I'm going to see a new cardiologist next Monday so hopefully he'll have some new ideas! Thanks for caringn :) r @Barbara: Not dead, I promise! So, perhaps I'm talking to no one. I appreciate your story and am glad that you took the time to document everything. I started reading from the middle of your story (around 1998) but immediately recognized your symptoms as NCS (neuro-cardiogenic syncope) as well as CFS. They often go hand in hand. Neurally mediated syncope is one of the 27 names used around the world for this disorder. I hope you have survived and perhaps even improved.
