Creative/Artistic Achievements

  • (Added October, 2003) To pose naked for a series of studio art or life drawing classes.
  • (Added May, 2004) Pottery, how to run a wheel and everything related to it. To become a proficient (at least technically) potter.
  • (Added May, 2004) To have my own art studio/art room set up, where I can leave out all my art stuff, have a full easel set up for paintings, a big big bench for projects and making canvasses and lots of space for collecting bits of junk for “found object” sculptures.
  • Have a picture of mine published/exhibited.

    Done in 2000! I had three pictures and a short written piece in the ‘We Are Creative’ exhibition. That’s an exhibition for disabled artists that ran in Melbourne, Australia.

  • Get paid for a picture I have drawn or painted.

    I’ve given them away as Christmas and birthday presents, but I’ve never sold one yet.

  • Learn to draw proficiently with:
    • (Added 2003) Coloured pencils.

      Done in 1997-2000! I drew nearly every day during this time. The cream of my artwork is available here on the web.

    • (Added 2003) Oil pastels.

      Started in April 2003! Started drawing with my Oil Pastels but had to stop on account of severe wrist and arm pain.
