The second quilt I drew, drawn in August 1997 when I was experimenting with a new set of pencils. In the end I didn’t like the pencils as much as my old one, but this quilt with all its shades of blue, purple and green was one that turned out well. It’s my Mum’s favourite of all the pictures I’ve ever drawn, I think.
